Brief background
The Free Minds Purpose
To support campaigns for the preservation of natural resources and environment and prevent their deterioration. To provide opportunities for people in need to improve the quality of their lives through efficient and effective management of resources.
To conduct livelihood training activities, non-formal education projects and scholarship assistance.
To establish linkages with the government and non-government organizations in the Philippines and other countries. To do such other things necessary for the accomplishment of its purposes.
The Free Minds History
We were primarily engaged to assist and strengthen communities in Mindanao in enhancing and promoting the local industries for social transformation and sustainable economic development. Its birth was anchored in the principle of “bridging resources, improving lives” as it articulates its work and passion through partnerships, linkages and collaboration with different entities and stakeholders towards the building of a peaceful and progressive Mindanao.
The Free Minds Mission
Our mission shall serve as a catalyst of peace and development by way of technology-transfer, promoting and enhancing local industries to bring about sustained economic activities and improved communities in Mindanao especially the conflict-affected and far-flung areas.
To strengthen community organizations to be dynamic partners of government and non-government agencies in the promotion and development of local industries.
